Young ladies at Orchard House School in Richmond, Virginia shared their love of reading with elementary school students and the people of Haiti. As part of “I Have A Dream” Foundation – Richmond’s Read More Books! initiative, Orchard House students visited kindergarten, first, second and third grade classrooms at two schools, read a story to the children and gave them each a book to take home for their home library. After hearing Haitian Dreamers speak about their vision to establish a library in their home country, Orchard House sponsored a book drive. This school of eighty students collected almost 5,000 books. That’s an amazing accomplishment. Thank you Orchard House!
